What is Vedic Meditation?

Vedic Meditation is an effortless, natural and highly beneficial form of meditation. It is an eyes-closed technique practiced for 20 minutes twice a day. While most other forms of meditation rely on concentration or contemplation, with Vedic Meditation we learn to let go and experience deep relaxation in a simple, easy way. This process allows for years of accumulated stress in the body to unwind layer by layer, revealing the full potential of your body and mind.

This meditation practice derives from a more than 5,000 year old body of knowledge from India known as the Veda – a series of teachings about the laws of nature and consciousness in which all yoga and Ayurvedic practices have their source. This technique is not a religious practice – people of all faiths and spiritual traditions practice Vedic Meditation.

Why do we call it Vedic?
